Whitmore

This station is situated in a deep cutting of sand stone, in the midst, of a wild heath, with hills and woods, and forest scenery. The village of Whitmore, to the east of the line, is a pleasant place, situated in a beautiful valley, and near at hand is Whitmore Hall.
