Willenhall is a large village, population 17,256 the inhabitants of which, like all those in this district, are engaged in the manufacture of iron articles, but particularly locks, keys, &c. At this place, and at Wednesfield, locks and bolts are manufactured for all parts of England. Here excellent red sand is dug.
